He joined NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) in 1996. He has been in charge of a wide range of operations including broadcast program production, anchoring, and broadcast management. Currently, he belongs to the Media Development & Strategy Center. As Deputy General Manager, he is responsible for the development of broadcasting and digital services. In recent years, he has been working on the use of AI technology and is involved in the development of speech synthesis, speech recognition, and translation technology.
