Daria Zhelnovod is the head of RT’s Special Documentary Projects. She has worked as a correspondent and a documentary author for a range of Russian television channels for more than two decades; starting in 2015 she was also the chief of broadcasting at a 24-hour federal news TV channel in Moscow. Daria became a member of the RT Documentary team in 2020, spearheading work on a number of films and series and curating relations with public and private international partners in the sphere. In 2023, Daria and her team launched «artel.doc», the first ever online streaming platform dedicated exclusively to documentary content — a multilingual resource that brings together documentary filmmakers from around the world in order to foster international collaboration and distribution in the non-fiction media space.
