Múirne is a strategic advisor to Noa (News Over Audio), the global audio subscription service that partners with global premium journalism partners.  She sits on the boards of the Digital Repository of Ireland and the Irish TV & Film Academy and is chair of the TV Committee.

During her thirty year career in media, Múirne built and managed high performing teams, Sport, News & Entertainment products and content businesses in global roles at RTÉ, Ireland’s Public Service Media, and McCann Worldgroup, New York. As Chief Digital Officer at RTÉ, she led the team that delivered and ran Gaelic Football and Hurling subscription streaming service GAAGO, RTÉ Player, RTÉ.ie and RTÉ NewsNow – a portfolio of services used by customers in 200+ countries. As Director of Worldwide Media Clients at Universal McCann, she forged new brand building strategies, leveraged content and built consumer connections for blue chip global brands including Coca-Cola, Microsoft, L’Oreal, Johnson & Johnson and Nestlé. Múirne is driven by leveraging business and creative implications of new technologies, evolving consumer behavior and emerging platform economics, Múirne has a demonstrated track record of thought leadership with inclusion in CDO Club’s Top 50 Global Influencers, Ad Age Media Innovators, Top 50 Women in STEM and Irish Sport, and founding Chair of European Broadcasting Union digital committee.
